This is my first journal writing experience on outcomes reflection for my English 101: English Composition. Course by Arizona State University. I’ve been asked for 3 following questions and these are my responses: 1. What do you find surprising about the course outcomes? The most surprising thing is, this English 101 course has been designed and managed by Arizona State University, a public research university ranked # 1 in the USA for innovation, dedicated to accessibility and excellence. I should underline the point that English isn't my native language, I was born and grownup in Bangladesh; therefore, all results of this course will be beneficial for me since careful discipline brings about promising results. "Bangla" is my local language, and this is the main language on the planet, where youthful students had been killed by the Pakistani Soldiers, the sacrifices was made on 23 February 1952. Known as Shahid Minar (the national monument) located at University of Dhaka, set up to recognize those sacrificed souls during the Bangla Language evolution on 21 February 1952. UNESCO officially declared 21 February as an International Mother Language Day (IMLD) on 17 November 1999. I love my country and culture but to accelerate life style, upmost career and better future, there is no alternate of knowing “English language”. Today's English writing course can be beneficial for everyday life in professionally, educationally or for personal reasons. Learn English writing with the global community, like one world, language. 2. What do you find confusing about the course outcomes? The whole course was designed developed by the upmost knowledgeable and skilled resources with direct involvement of Arizona State University, I’m sure they tried their best to developed this course and it’ll improve gradually. No confusing in the course prospective, but using technology in English writing, insert draft, final draft and final grading process are bit confusing. 3. What do the course outcomes tell you about academic writing, and how is this different from or similar to writing you do in other contexts of your life? I’ve already informed that, the course designed and developed by best possible professors, faculties and program coordinators, there is no doubt about quality of English writing course outcomes. The following things are reflects my life: Rhetorical Knowledge: The words are commonplace to me and I expect in any subject I investigate I utilize my insight with an end goal to verbalize it to my gathering of people in an effective way. As of now I am working with another craftsman in manufacturing a bit of open workmanship. Between us I discover chances to make inquiries, react to circumstances and propose game-plans. I could state that any experience enables me to hone information logically. Now and again I consider my need to make strides. Different circumstances I get a feeling of accomplishment when my outcomes feel like an impression of my expectations. Critical Thinking, Reading and Composing: As a creator, one of the center practices is basic reasoning. I appreciate finding out about human encounters so my engagement with the theme in center can be tended to effectively. Perusing and making are part out of this procedure for me. Composing has just been similar to that for me and I am certain this course will enable me to enhance my grip of composing. I appreciate composing.
